How do I find the status of my application?
To check the status of your application, simply log-in to your Graduate Admission Application.
Different status updates will appear as your application moves towards a decision
- Submitted – Application is submitted.
- Pending Department Review – Your application has been forwarded on to the department for admission decision. This means that the Graduate College has received your application fee and official transcripts.
How do I know if all of my Application Materials have been received by the Graduate College?
Upon receipt and processing of your application you will be sent an email letter from the Graduate College. This letter will contain your Boise State student ID number, username, and Boise State email address. You will use this information to access your Student Center. When you login to your myBoiseState Student Center you will see a “To Do” list. This will list items that are still needed by the Graduate College. It may not list items that are needed by your program.
During peak application season we receive large numbers of applications per day, each of which is reviewed by an Admission and Degree Specialist. Please allow 5 to 10 business days after your submission for your status to be updated.
Once the Graduate College has received your application, application fee, and official transcripts your application packet will be made available to your program so that an admission decision can be made. When this happens you will receive an email notification from the application system.
